Blog Overhaul!

Hi guys,

It's been a while (3 months- oops!) since I last uploaded a blog. I started to run out of inspiration for my blogs and never had enough enthusiasm to actually write and upload a blog.

I have decided to restart my blog, but doing a completely different thing, hence the title of this post. From now on, I will be doing a weekly (hopefully!) blog on my life. I plan to write a new blog every Sunday but sometimes they may be a day or two late, so apologies in advance.

The first blog in this new style will be next Sunday so bye for now!

Liebster Award

Recently I was nominated by Natalie from Silver Linings of an Empty Summer for the Liebster Award. This was a massive surprise, so thank you Natalie!

The Liebster Award is a way for new bloggers to interact with each other and get to know each other a bit more. Each person nominates 11 people with less than 200 followers to answer 11 questions chosen by them. I have seen this award going around so was so happy when Natalie nominated me.

So here goes;

1. What is your favourite childhood memory?
This is a tough one but when I was 6 I was lucky enough to go to Australia and swim with and feed dolphins and that is something I will never forget. It was also on this holiday I first swam on my own so that holiday will always have a special place in my heart.

New Wheelchair!

On the first Wednesday back at school after Christmas, me and my Mum went to pick up my brand new wheelchair. I am a full-time wheelchair user as I can't walk at all. This is my fourth wheelchair and so far, my favourite. I know that not many (if any) of you are wheelchair users but I know that I like to know what kind of chair people have got. So, mine is a Quickie Helium Pro in granite with an orange trim. Everything about it is designed to be light, making it weigh only 6 kg, which is crazy considering all the metal on it. It is really simple and practical, and I love it! I also have an anti-tip on mine (safety first) which is really easy to fold up and not much hassle. I have opted, for the first time to have a chair without handles, which was a scary prospect, but I am managing fine. Although at first I wasn't sure about the mud guards being so small, now its fine as long as I tuck my jacket into my belt. Overall, a great chair and if anyone is thinking about getting this chair, then I would recommend it.

December Favourites

Hi guys,

This is a bit late but I thought I would tell you my ten favourite things from December. Some are beauty related, some aren't but I have tried to get a good mix. I have put a link next to them all with where you can buy them as I know when I look at other people's blogs I like to be able to look at and purchase them easily.  

So here goes;

1. Lanzarote

Over the New Year I was lucky enough to go to Lanzarote with my family. The island is just beautiful and this is the view from the hotel, where you could even see the next island, Fuerteventura. Even though we went in the winter it was still really warm and I would definitely recommend it as a holiday destination to anyone.

 2. So...? Fragrances

  For Christmas I received a gift set of So...? body sprays. These are really affordable and smell amazing. My favourite ones are Sinful and Exclusive, and I also got Sexy and Kiss Me.You can find where to buy them here.

 3. Maybelline Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara

I purchased this a few months ago but I wanted to share with you all how amazing this is. This is a gel mascara which sounds scary but I love it! It isn't clumpy and it makes my eyelashes look longer and gives them more volume. It also lasts ages which is always a positive. You can buy it by clicking here
